As you all know- last week David Jones staged its Spring 2011 collection showing. It is a massive production, so this season I spent time behind the scenes, where things were surprisingly relaxed.

By far my favourite men’s wear showing during RAFW: St Augustine Academy. The collection was titled Love and Haight… and drew inspiration from the hippy / biker subculture of the 1960s. A few of the models were street cast, which is a point of difference you don’t often see… the collection also highlighted my love for the WILD WEST. Cowboys and Indians, along with Middle America, is back baby! Check out my favourite runway looks and a few backstage snaps I took whilst visiting the style team before and after the show. LM

Here are my favourite runway looks from the Stolen Girlfriends Club Spring/Summer 2011 show during RAFW. Titled The Big Comedown, it looked edgy with masculine lines. The denim was worked in really well with the collection and the two tone shorts an interesting point of difference. I also took a few snaps backstage while the team were finalising the looks and hair… great show with an awesome soundtrack. Congrats SGC.
