Alexander Wang is rolling out his men’s wear line this coming Fall. Having recently won the CFDA and GQ’s Best New Menswear Designer Award for his T by Alexander Wang collection- the designer clearly thought now would be a good time to let loose on a full blown collection. Wang explains that the initial offering will include coats, suits and jackets with utilitarian references like leather and silk detailing. AND although accessories will not be included this season, Wang is expecting they will form part of the Spring 2012 line up- given the hype generated by his woman’s shoes / bags / everything – I am pumped for his men’s wear. Now… Finding a decent stockist in Sydney… more of a problem!
