LONDON MENSWEAR GUIDE

McQueen London

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Saville Row

McQueen is undoubtedly English, and draws heritage from its Saville Row roots. Saville Row is a must for any man that cares about his appearance. This is the perfect place to start my London Menswear Guide!

Liberty of London

LIBERTY Regent St

There is a small, cool edit of menswear to be found hidden away in the basement of this ancient department store. Head here for super trendy English labels like Jonathan Suanders. Also a plus, on average less tourists than any other store!?

Lanvin Model

LANVIN Saville Row

This Lanvin store needs no explanation- its super luxe. It also carries the entire collection plus a tailoring service. The price tags are pretty scary.

Harrods London

HARRODS Knightsbridge

Previously a massive yawn and tourist trap combined, recently someone at Harrods has been upping the ante. BY FAR my favourite edit of brands (they had everything). The menswear department had all the best pieces, and the mens shoe department was out of control. I went back multiple times.

Dover St Market

DOVER ST MARKET Mayfair

A multi level warehouse in Mayfair, this store stocks every brand you have ever want to wear. Move past the potentially art student staff with heaps of attitude- and try on some excellent Rick Owens, Saint Laurent and Jil Sander. If you’re into eating, the cafe on the top floor smells super nice.

Smythson London

HARVEY NICHOLS Knightsbridge

The menswear offering at Harvey Nics is pretty good- they have a decent selection of international designers. Although this time around I didn’t think the edit was amazing, I have previously felt otherwise. The only dedicated Balenciaga store in London, plus a big offering of Lanvin, Balmain and Dries Van Noten. The shoe department officially sucks.

ACNE London

ACNE Studios Dover St

Everybody knows what you can get here- this store is huge- so the offering of jeans, leather jackets, knitwear etc is pretty excellent. Plus its on the way to Dover St Market…

BURBERRY Knightsbridge

This dedicated menswear store on Brompton Rd is a must see. What was previously an arcade, this store houses extensive mens suiting (and tailoring services) as well as the full offering of Burberry Prorsum and accessories. The plush lounges and ceiling high LED screen will make you stay longer than you should.

Saint_Laurent_London

SAINT LAURENT Sloane St

So much recent hype over the new Saint Laurent, especially as the first collection from Hedi Slimane drops in store. Super slim jeans and suiting, and a bunch of cool shoes. Definitely check out this sleek Sloane St store. All the cool kids are doing it.

Selfridges_London

SELFRIDGES Oxford St

Potentially the coolest UK department store, head here for an epic selection of menswear designers, like Givenchy, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent etc. The recently renovated menswear level is super sleek- and the shoe department is pretty amazing.

 Map

Smythson London

SMYTHSON Bond St

An old favourite of mine, head here for potentially the best stationary in the universe. By appointment to the Royal Family, this heritage British store also offers super cool leather bound (and personalised) notebooks and diaries. Stay classy!

Map

 Tom Ford London

TOM FORD Sloane St

London seems to be the base for the TF empire of late, so once open this yet to be completed flagship store on Sloane St is a must. Expect next level super luxe.

Map

Topman London

TOPMAN Oxford St

Although the crowds and booming dance anthems could be considered a deterrent- this store is Topman in its finest form- loud and fast. A destination not to be missed, everything is colourful, cheap and on-trend.
